  I can only offer a review for the 'DIRT WARS' obstacle side of things as I have not experienced the 4x4 Driving experience there. However, the Dirt Wars obstacle race is a fun event. It is not as professionally made as some of the other OCRs (Obstacle Course Race) out there, but still offers a decent level of challenge and endurance. This year (Early 2017), they had a day/night event with half the adult course being run at night (Don't forget to bring your head lamps), and the full course during the next morning. Which was a fun little camping option (Sleep in car, tent, caravan, whatever you setup for yourself). There was also, of course, the KIDS OCR. They had the kids section also available for the night (Again, make sure the little tykes have their head lamps with them), and also the option of doing it in the morning. Now, as for food and drink. You have to be prepared to expect that the facilities are just like a big outback shed with a bar and kitchen as part of it. The Bar has EFTPOS, but the kitchen doesn't. It is easier to bring cash, otherwise you have to wrangle your order from the Bar and pay for EFTPOS there and then head back to the kitchen to tell them you paid, have them go check, and then make your order. It isn't exactly conventient, but hey, at least if you are prepared for that, you can still get food if you don't have cash. Now, this is my only big issue with the place (apart from flies, which in Australia, SUCK in the warmer weather and especially anywhere 'outback), was the road to get there. After driving for a couple hours of blissful asphalt, the last Kilometre or so is dirt. But not dirt as in loose dirt running the risk of getting bogged or sliding off into the bushes, but dirt as in the HARD stuff. Dirt where the road become badly 'corrugated'. So unless you have a big Four Wheel Drive, or something else designed to handle that kind of surface, or are prepared to drive at less than 5km/h, be ready to have your vehicle have the hell shaken out of it. I was coasting at 50km/h when I hit that section of road and the vibrations shook the whole car menacingly and so bad that the steering wheel was shaking violently in my hand.. That road is NOT suited for most general kinds of vehicles. So make sure you have a vehicle that can handle that, or take alternative transport. Otherwise, your car will NOT like that road.

  Awesome place for camping and 4x4 driving. The tracks they have are so much fun. They have tracks for beginner's and more experienced drivers. And if you get stuck they are happy to come and help you out. The owner is a great guy. The camps he has are big and can fit a large group of people or even just a family. Good fishing. We caught our first yabby last we went. The kids were excited they got to try their first yabby. They loved it. Highly recommend camping there.

  I have been here before for a show and enjoyed it to the mac's. This time we came back with the 4x4 drive to try out some 4x4 drive tracks and I highly recommend it to anyone that loves 4x4 driving get out there and have some great fun everyone enjoy.
